Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 July 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile applications, websites, and related services published by Benipal Services (operated by Hardeep Singh Benipal, Auckland, New Zealand) — including, without limitation, Benipal Lab, Satluj Coin, Road Tranz, Truck Map, and any future apps we release (collectively, the "Services").
By downloading, accessing, or using any of our Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. Scope
This is a general privacy policy for all Benipal Services apps. Each app may collect different types of information depending on its features. Only data necessary for that app's functionality is collected. Some apps may collect little or no personal data; others may require account or contact information to operate.
2. Information we may collect
Depending on which app you use and how you use it, we may collect:
- Account information — name, email address, phone number, login credentials, or profile details you provide when registering or contacting support.
- Contact and support data — messages, feedback, or order details you send through our apps or support channels.
- Usage and device data — app version, device type, operating system, general usage logs, crash reports, and performance data to keep apps stable and secure.
- Location data — only where an app requires it (for example, transport or mapping features), and only with your permission through your device settings.
- Payment or order information — details needed to process orders or service requests. Payment card data, where applicable, is handled by secure third-party payment processors — we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Blockchain or wallet data — for apps that display public blockchain information, we may process public wallet addresses or on-chain data you choose to view. We do not collect or store private keys.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information unless required for a specific feature and with your consent.
3. How we use information
We use information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve our apps and services
- Create and manage user accounts where applicable
- Process orders, requests, and customer support inquiries
- Send service-related notifications (such as order or project updates)
- Monitor app performance, fix bugs, and prevent fraud or misuse
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Legal basis (where applicable)
Where required by law (including the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and, where applicable, GDPR), we process personal data based on one or more of the following: your consent, performance of a contract, legitimate business interests (such as improving our apps), or compliance with legal obligations.
5. Third-party services
Our apps may use trusted third-party providers to help us operate, such as cloud hosting, analytics, authentication, payment processing, push notifications, maps, or blockchain data APIs. These providers may process data on our behalf and are required to protect it in line with applicable law.
Our Services may also contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as needed to provide our Services, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it where reasonably possible.
7. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal requirements
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Opt out of non-essential communications
- Disable location, notifications, or other permissions in your device settings
To request deletion of your account or personal data, visit our Data Deletion page. To exercise other rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time as required by applicable law.
9. Children's privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
10. International users
Benipal Services is based in New Zealand. If you use our apps from outside New Zealand, your information may be processed in New Zealand or in other countries where our service providers operate, subject to appropriate safeguards where required by law.
11. App Store and Google Play
This Privacy Policy is intended to satisfy the privacy policy URL requirements of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for all Benipal Services apps. The data collection practices described in each app's store listing and in-app disclosures should be read together with this policy.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
